Getting to know EDR
EDR, or Energy Design Rating, measures a home’s efficiency. The lower the score, the better. A score of 0 means the home produces as much renewable energy as it uses.
While many builders aim to meet code, SHAWOOD builds beyond it. With our Zero Energy packages, our homes can reach an EDR of 0, delivering top-tier performance, lower operating costs, and efficiency you can measure and feel.
